Ratnagiri witnessed a grand celebration of sports, fitness, and unity with the successful organization of the Ratnagiri Khel Mahakumbh, held in the parliamentary constituency of Shri Narayan Rane, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, former Chief Minister of Maharashtra, and former Union Minister.

The event, envisioned to promote health, fitness, and gender equality, attracted over 5,000 young participants from across the region. The sporting extravaganza created a vibrant platform for youth to showcase their talent, sportsmanship, and dedication to physical well-being.

The Khel Mahakumbh was made possible with the generous support and sponsorship from leading Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), including:

ONGC, Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum (BPCL), Hindustan Petroleum (HPCL), Bharat Dynamics, Oil India, State Bank of India (SBI), Bank of India, and Punjab National Bank (PNB).

Shri Narayan Rane extended his heartfelt gratitude to all the supporting government PSUs for their invaluable contribution to making this event a grand success. In his address, he emphasized the importance of such initiatives in fostering community spirit, encouraging active lifestyles among youth, and promoting inclusive participation in sports irrespective of gender.

“Ratnagiri Khel Mahakumbh is not just a sporting event but a celebration of unity, discipline, and determination. I sincerely thank all our PSU partners whose support made this initiative possible,” said Shri Narayan Rane.

The event stands as a testament to the power of collaboration between government bodies and public enterprises in nurturing talent and building a healthier, stronger nation.
